Covering notable landmarks and architecturally stimulating structures in my daily morning walks on the Stanford University campus has been part of my unconscious path generation exercise. Bing Nursery School, the home of the famous marshmallow experiment, is one of those locations.
A new pair of shoes, especially sneakers, excites me since my childhood but always comes with the burden of breaking them in. I was passing by Bing Nursery School last week with the discomfort of my brand new pair. I must be patient and give it at least a few days of walk to earn the perfect snugly fit that lasts the rest of the pair’s lifetime.
The perfect fit never comes for free — neither the second marshmallow.
